Michael and Tonya Johnson of Hot Springs used Carolina rigged Zoom Watermelon seed Lizards on the inside edge of the moss to catch 13.82lbs to win $880 for first. They also earned $160 for their 4.22 lb lunker. Second place were Kevin and Kerry Short of Mayflower who used Mizzmo Quiver Stick in 8to 10 feet of water. The 11.83 got them a $480 payday. Third were Mike and Martha Gueringer of Conway for a second tournament in a row who weighed 10.94 to earn them $380.They used a tube lure to catch their limit. The next Arkansas Couples tournament will be May 22 on Lake Ouachita out of Crystal Springs Resort.
