First went to Shannon and Tina Pierce who had a 5 fish limit, which weighed 16.86 lbs and won them $930. They reported catching their limit on Zoom Finesse worms rigged on a jig head in 16 to 18 feet of water. Second were Kevin and Kerry Short who used Zoom Speed worms and W.E.C. crank baits to capture their 15.95 lbs. and win $530. Third were Mike and Shawna Jolly who flipped black neon Mizmo tube up river to earn them $430 for their 13.59 lbs. David and Liz Davis earned lunker honors and 4th place. Their 4.88 lbs lunker earned them $200. They reported using Bagley crank baits in front of the grass and their 13.59 lbs earned them $370 more. The next Arkansas Couples tournament will be September 26 at Little Rock on the Arkansas River registration will be at Fish’N Stuff.
