HOW DOES IT WORK?
REGISTRATION
The Anglers Quest T-Match Series consists of double elimination rounds of competition. Any Team who wants to enter the T-MATCH competition must enter before April 4th, 2009. There is only one entry fee that covers all rounds of competition. You never have to pay another entry fee for the entire season, regardless of how many rounds you qualify for. The one time annual entry fee is $500. No Team may enter after April 4th, 2009 for the upcoming season.
The T-MATCH competition is a "DOUBLE ELIMINATION" tournament series. All Teams are guaranteed at least two rounds. All winners will continue on to the next round until a winner is established. Teams who lose a match will move to the elimination round Losers Bracket until they lose again.

SETTING UP THE MATCH
After your match has been posted it is the responsibility of each Team to contact the challenging Team. Each match must be completed within the time frame of that round, 3 weeks from posting. Once you have contacted the challenging Team, you must discuss which lake that you want to hold your match. Teams may choose to hold their match on any lake that both Teams agree to. Teams can even hold the match on a private pond if both Teams agree to do so. Each Team may say "NO" to the lake recommendation. For example, Team Heeet tells the challenging Team they would like to hold the match on Sam Rayburn. Team Smacktalk may say "NO" to that lake. Then, Team Smacktalk may say they want to hold the match on Toledo Bend. Team Heeet may say "NO" to that lake. If this is the case and a lake cannot be agreed upon during the allotted time frame, a state of the art software draw program developed by Anglers Quest will lastly decide the match lake.
The Lakes to be used in the Anglers Quest state of the art draw program, in the event that the 2 Teams cannot agree on a Lake choice will be: Lake Conroe, Lake Houston, Lake Livingston and Sam Rayburn. Once you have agreed upon a lake, you must then agree to a date, time, and place to meet the challenging Team. You can hold the match any day of the week and anytime of day, as long as the match is completed before the deadline date. For Example: You and the challenging Team has agreed to use Lake Livingston as your match lake. You then set up the time and place. You both agree that you would like to hold the match on Wednesday the 13th at Kickapoo Creek Ramp. You agree that you will meet at the Kickapoo Creek Ramp at 6:00 AM and your weigh in will be at 2:00 PM, on the 13th. It's a good idea to get each other's cell phone #, in case one of you is running late. Once you have set up a time to meet and a time to weigh in, you must call Anglers Quest at 281-852-8842 and let us know the schedule. Once you meet at the ramp, you will need to check each other's measuring board, and determine who's scale your going to use, You will measure and weigh each other's fish at the end of the day. Anglers Quest may have a director on site with a polygraph examiner, based on the timeline you provided for the match.

COMPLETING THE MATCH
Once you have completed your match, you will determine a winner and then report your results to Anglers Quest before the deadline date. The winner will advance to the next round in the winner's bracket, and the other Team will move to the losers bracket, if it is that Teams 1st loss. If it is the Teams second loss, they are out of the competition. Since the Anglers Quest T-MATCH is a double elimination, a Team can lose one match, and still make it all the way to the Final round and be the winner by winning the remaining matches.
